Virgin Coconut oil is not a medicine but a food. It doesn’t have any side effect. But individuals differ and some may experience cleansing effects. The most common is loose bowel movement or diarrhea. This is because the lauric acid component of coconut oil which is antibacterial, antiviral, and caprylic acid which is anti fungal, and both work to eliminate the bad bacteria and fungus from your system. For this reason we offer this gradual way of building up slowly to decrease chances of feeling these reactions. Coconut Oil is solid and white when temperatures are below 74 degrees F. It is liquid and cloudy or clear at 75 degrees F or higher; this is totally normal.
